Eddie Seville is an American songwriter
and multi- instrumentalist from New England.
As the creative force behind the band Steel Rodeo,
as well as a solo artist and noted member of
the NY based group Frank Carillo & the Bandoleros,
Eddie has performed throughout the continental
US, Canada, Europe and the Virgin Islands.
Best known as an authentic roots rocker,
he's been called alt- country, americana, country-
soul and even "folk hard rock" ... whatever THAT is!
BLUES MATTERS (UK) said "beautifully arranged and
empathetically written ballads form the staple diet of
Seville's repertoire" and "comparisons with Springtseen,
Dylan and the UK's Sean Taylor are inevitable but
not completely exaggerated given the many
magical moments of sheer brilliance"
Eddie's written songs published by Sony / ATV,
songs released on Island / Atlantic and Universal Records,
music that aired on three major television networks and a
single that reached #19 on independent country radio.
His songs are covered by local musicians, regional bands
and international artists, most notably George Kooymans from the Dutch band Golden Earring, who covered one
of Eddie's songs  (Blind Love) on a 2010 release and another (Ticket To Heaven) in 2017.
As an arranger, a player and a session collaborator,
Eddie's work spans projects with producer Paul Orofino (Foghat,
The Cars / Ahmad Jamal), Augie Meyers (Texas Tornados / Bob Dylan),
Andrew Carillo (Joan Osborne), Bob Loveday (Bob Geldof),
Marty Ballou (Peter Wolf), Matt Cartsonis (Warren Zevon),
Danny Miranda (BOC / Queen) and Simon Kirke ( Free / Bad Company),
in addition to numerous credits on a wide range of recordings that include film, television, major and independent label releases.
